As the first snowfall blanketed Northeast China, China Power Construction Corporation (CTG) braved the biting winds and icy conditions to ensure power supply.
At dawn, engineers climbed 70-meter-high wind turbine towers in sub-zero temperatures to repair critical systems; meanwhile, inspection personnel trekked along snow-covered mountain ridges to inspect 23 kilometers of transmission lines and 54 transformers.
Since early October, CTG had prepared for the cold wave—stockpiling snow chains, snow removal tools, and other emergency supplies, and strengthening on-site duty and inspections to ensure rapid response and safe operation of all facilities.
