Why Read the Bible? In my small town, there are over eighty different churches. Naturally, I have a certain reverence and admiration for this religion, and I often express it. But perhaps I don't really understand it, and I often praise the wrong things. So, I'm often corrected by believers, who post passages from the Bible, making me realize my ignorance. I don't want to be ignorant. So, a couple of years ago, I decided to read the entire Bible to understand what it's all about. After that, I actually spent a year and a half reading it from beginning to end, word for word, and even recorded and edited it, essentially creating an audiobook of the Bible—and the quality is quite high. In addition, I read biblical masterpieces by Calvin and Moody, and dabbled in medieval scholastic philosophy, pondering theological questions like "How many angels can stand on the head of a pin?" Afterwards, I was too embarrassed to express the initial reverence and admiration. That's it...? Well, it's hard to put into words. But reading more books is never a bad thing.
