The Central Bank of Malaysia has launched a three-year real-world asset tokenization program, establishing a Digital Asset Innovation Centre and an industry working group to explore a range of applications, from supply chain finance to Islamic finance. The program aims to complete proof-of-concept and pilot projects by 2026 and expand the trials in 2027.
