On a Texas interstate highway, a BMW traveling in the wrong direction collided head-on with a Cybertruck. The BMW caught fire, and the driver tragically died. The Cybertruck did not catch fire, and the driver survived but is in critical condition. The safest truck on Earth. Update: Unfortunately, the Cybertruck is totaled, which is incredibly disappointing. I still maintain that the Cybertruck is extremely safe, arguably the safest. After sharing this story, I also learned that the Cybertruck was also struck by a semi-trailer truck due to the BMW's oncoming collision. My initial point was that electric vehicles are very difficult to catch fire, they are extremely safe, and autonomous driving greatly reduces the occurrence of such accidents. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims. No one should have died this way.
