There's been a lot of discussion in the Peking University alumni group these days about a Mexican drug lord who emerged from Peking University, known as "Brother Wang." He studied in the Spanish Department at Peking University from the class of 2006 to 2010. According to Mexican investigations, he's suspected of trafficking over two tons of fentanyl and cocaine to the United States, laundering over $20 million through shell companies. He was apprehended in Mexico in 2024 but escaped. This time, he was recaptured in Cuba.
It's so dangerous, only earning over $20 million. Working in the real economy is too hard.
