Just bid on @megaeth_labs' ICO on Echo/Sonic/Coinbase, whatever we're calling it now =) Sorting out my KYC and verification process was a bit difficult, and I'm not sure I could have done it without the personal help of @hotpot_dao and @NamikMuduroglu, which I'm truly grateful for. But let's take a moment to appreciate how projects like @echodotxyz and @legiondotcc, and teams like @megaeth_labs, are actually reducing VC ownership to allow the public to participate. I remember back in the spring of 2023, when I was still at @delphi_labs, telling them about MiCA and saying, "This will unleash the ICO buzz again"; this led to the incubation of Legion, while @cobie was also forming Echo, and I even tried to get them to collaborate early on, but sadly that didn't happen. But more importantly, despite the market's many flaws, the tremendous progress made over the past two years is truly worth pausing to reflect and be grateful for. While we still see a lot of garbage in the crypto space, things are getting better bit by bit. I strongly encourage others to participate in this moment—just think about it, just a few years ago, you would have done anything to seize the opportunities that are now available every day, complaining about venture capital firms and the like. Now, we are that group.
