I lurk in a few small meme groups, and belatedly, I think I understand how memes work. 1/ A group of market leaders grab chips at the bottom, say 1%-5% each. 2/ During the first wave of the uptrend (small group promotion + Degen mutual selling), they take out 4% of their chips to recover their original investment. 3/ They usually keep 1%. Market leaders actively promote (3,3), promote on social media, and sell off stocks slowly as trading volume builds. 4/ They keep 0.1% and forget about it, moving on to the next one. My understanding is superficial, so please correct me if I misunderstand.
