Select "GPT-5 Think" in ChatGPT on the web to toggle think time in the message editor. - Plus, Pro, and Business offer "Standard" (the new default, balancing speed and intelligence) and "Extended" (the previous default for Plus) modes. - Pro also offers "Light" (fastest) and "Heavy" (more in-depth) modes.
