Bloomberg: The #Trump administration is discussing acquiring about 10% of Intel, a move that could make the U.S. government its largest shareholder. The federal government is planning to convert some or all of the subsidies the company received from the CHIPS Act into equity. Under the act, Intel has been approved to receive a total of $10.9 billion in subsidies for commercial and military chip production. Based on Intel's current market value, a 10% stake is worth about $10.5 billion.
