I made a bold decision, leaving behind my comfortable life in Shanghai and moving to Chengdu. I've since assembled my own small team. I gathered a few friends from all over the world, friends I'd never met before, to Chengdu. This is the kind of teamwork we love. From the decision to move to Chengdu, to gathering friends, to renting an apartment, to laying the groundwork today, it took two weeks. There was no impulsiveness, and I didn't overthink things. I'm a very action-oriented person; I just go for it. I've been in Chengdu for a full week now. The people are so friendly, and I've been enjoying the delicious food and the wonderful Sichuan dialect. I wonder if I'll love this place enough to leave in six months or a year.
