特朗普拟强推39.6%富人税遭共和党内部反对

5 月 9 日，据消息人士称，美国总统特朗普正在推动提高一些最富有美国人的税率，以抵消其标志性经济方案中的其他减税措施。美国商务部长卢特尼克表示他「赞成」这样做。

特朗普的提议要求为个人年收入不低于 250 万美元或夫妻收入达 500 万美元的群体设立 39.6% 的新税级。若得到国会批准，将使最高税率达到特朗普 2017 年减税政策前的水平。目前的个人最高税率为 37%。

据彭博报道，特朗普是在周三给众议院议长约翰逊的电话中提出这一要求的，还重申了他希望取消风险投资和私募股权基金经理享受的附带权益税收优惠。
