Bridge and Visa will cooperate to launch stablecoin payment cards, first launching in Latin America

According to TheBlock, Visa has reached a partnership with Bridge, a stablecoin infrastructure company recently acquired by Stripe to launch a Visa card that supports stablecoin payments in Latin America. Bridge will handle backend operations, including stablecoin balance withdrawal and fiat currency exchange. The product will be launched first in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Chile, and merchants will receive payments in local currency.
