On April 26, President Trump and his allies have earned nearly $900,000 in transaction fees from the president’s TRUMP cryptocurrency tokens in the past two days, according to a Chainalysis report.
Earlier, the token announced on Wednesday that it would have dinner with the president to encourage the top 220 holders to participate. Critics believe the dinner contest is an unusually obvious attempt to monetize the president's dining opportunities.
It is worth noting that since its launch in January, trading activities have brought about $324.5 million in transaction fees to insiders. These fees are generated through the token’s built-in mechanism, which transfers a percentage of each transaction to wallets controlled by the project – which, according to Chainalysis, are associated with the token’s creator.
