South Korea's election prospect: 16 million virtual asset investors become key votes
According to the report, South Korea's presidential election on June 3 is imminent, and virtual asset investors, which account for 36% of the total number of voters, have become the key vote for various candidates. According to industry estimates, there are about 16 million investors in South Korea's virtual asset, and the market size is equivalent to the market value of South Korea's KOSPI. Candidates from all parties have proposed policies related to virtual assets: the ruling party, the Common Democratic Party, promised to promote the Basic Law of Digital Assets, and the opposition National Power Party proposed seven major policies, including relaxing institutional investment restrictions and allowing ETF trading. Industry insiders said that due to investors' strong demands on policy relaxation, the voting orientation of this group will have an important impact on the election situation.
