Türkiye, Egypt, and Pakistan are helping to relay messages between the US and Iran.
According to CryptoWorld, US President Trump recently stated that he has suspended plans to attack Iranian power plants, citing progress in negotiations to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. This statement comes after he issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Iran on Saturday. However, Tehran claims that Trump's move is intended to prevent further spikes in energy prices and buy time for his military plans. A US source stated that Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan have been exchanging information regarding the relevant issues between the US and Iran over the past two days. According to US sources, the foreign ministers of the three countries held separate talks with White House Special Envoy Witkov and Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi. A source familiar with the situation stated, "Mediation is still ongoing and is making progress. The discussions revolve around ending the war and resolving all outstanding issues. We hope to get an answer soon." (AXIOS)
