FeaturesNasdaq and Talos are partnering to advance tokenized collateral management and market surveillance.
According to Mondo Visione, Nasdaq and Talos have partnered to connect Talos's digital asset infrastructure with Nasdaq's Calypso and Trade Surveillance platforms to jointly develop a comprehensive solution for managing tokenized collateral. This collaboration aims to address structural barriers to the adoption of tokenized collateral in institutional markets, enabling the real-time flow of assets such as securities and cash equivalents across different platforms. Nasdaq reports that approximately 25% of collateral (worth over $35 billion) is currently idle or in a non-profit state. Through this integration, Talos clients will be able to use Nasdaq's trade surveillance capabilities to monitor market abuses such as wash trading, layering, and spoofing, thereby strengthening compliance frameworks and meeting regulatory requirements.
