Latin American crypto exchange Ripio, with over 25 million users, has launched wARS, a stablecoin pegged to the Argentine peso, now available on Ethereum, Coinbase's Base, and World Chain. The token enables global, 24/7 fund transfers without banks or USD conversion, amid Argentina's inflation drop from 292% in April last year to 31.8%. Ripio plans similar stablecoins for other regional currencies to facilitate cross-border payments, expanding its real-world asset offerings.
