Gold Surges in October as Bitcoin Experiences Decline
October witnessed a significant rise in gold prices, while the Nasdaq index also saw an increase, highlighting a rotation among assets. Bitcoin, however, experienced a nearly 5% decline in October, breaking its streak of consecutive monthly gains. After reaching an all-time high of over $126,000 on October 6, Bitcoin's value plummeted, dropping to around $104,000 between October 10 and 11. This marks the first time in six years that Bitcoin has ended October with a loss. Despite the monthly decline, Bitcoin has still risen over 16% year-to-date.
