U.S. House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn 'GT' Thompson met with CFTC Acting Chair Caroline D. Pham on Thursday to discuss preparations for expanding cryptocurrency regulations next year. The discussions are part of efforts to draft new rules, with expectations that a market structure bill will be passed. Last week, Caroline D. Pham also met with Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Senator John Boozman to discuss similar issues. Previously, it was reported that the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee is set to release a bipartisan draft related to the cryptocurrency market structure bill.
