He stated that every culture will ultimately develop its own technological "reactor core." This "reactor core" is composed of three social technologies: AI acts as a social "oracle," providing probabilistic guidance; cryptocurrency constitutes society's deterministic laws; and social networks serve as the glue that binds the former two together. He stated that AI is currently disrupting the media, cryptocurrencies are disrupting monetary power, robots are disrupting manufacturing, and drones are disrupting the military. Crypto plays a key role in all three of these areas (as currency itself, as a constraint on AI, and as a security control layer for drones).
