Balaji Srinivasan: AI and Crypto will jointly build a verifiable reality and become the "core reactor" of future social technology
According to Bijie.com, former Coinbase CTO and author of the best-selling book "The Network State," Balaji Srinivasan, stated in an appearance on the a16z podcast that he believes the virtual world created by AI is difficult to distinguish between real and fake, and its logical end point is the verifiable reality provided by cryptocurrencies. He stated that every culture will ultimately develop its own technological "reactor core." This "reactor core" is composed of three social technologies: AI acts as a social "oracle," providing probabilistic guidance; cryptocurrency constitutes society's deterministic laws; and social networks serve as the glue that binds the former two together. He stated that AI is currently disrupting the media, cryptocurrencies are disrupting monetary power, robots are disrupting manufacturing, and drones are disrupting the military. Crypto plays a key role in all three of these areas (as currency itself, as a constraint on AI, and as a security control layer for drones).
